Muncie Power Products, the industry leader in Power Take-Offs and mobile power components to the truck equipment industry has an immediate opening for a Distribution Center Manager. In business since 1935, Muncie Power Products, Inc. is totally dedicated to the design, manufacture, marketing, and distribution of products that meet or exceed the industry's quality standards.

This position will be based in our Tulsa, Oklahoma location and will be responsible for directing the activities of the distribution and tank departments in an efficient manner. Responsible also for planning, organizing, and controlling overall traffic and transportation plans to insure an integrated distribution system with the other divisions and customers.

Additional responsibilities include directing the timely shipment of products to other divisions and to customers, developing scheduling procedures, and insuring products are accurately shipped on schedule.

The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer completion of two (2) years undergraduate degree study and a minimum of three (3) years experience in distribution management, or a minimum of five (5) years distribution management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Prefer a minimum of two (2) years' supervisory experience with knowledge of freight laws and regulations. Knowledge of inventory control procedures is also a plus for this demanding position.

The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and being self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed are also essential for this position.
