The Muncie Electronic Spreader Package (MESP) is a microprocessor based spreader control system for ice and snow control
vehicles. The system was designed to provide hands off, ground speed oriented operation for optimum driver convenience and maximum material cost savings. The MESP
system ensures a constant material delivery rate by continually monitoring the vehicle speed and automatically adjusting the spread rate to compensate for changes
in ground speed.
The MESP can be installed on any new vehicle or retrofitted to an existing central hydraulic system.
