Muncie Power is recognized as a leader in wellness strategies. The Wellness Council of Indiana certified us with the 5 Star AchieveWELL designation. Our wellness program is committed to the care, value, and respect of our community through a culture that promotes a healthy life style utilizing all dimensions of wellness.
We achieve this through awareness, education, and adoption.
Since 2010, our wellness program covers multiple aspects including physical, emotional, social, and financial dimensions. Wellness events and programs include gym membership discounts, walking challenges, free health screenings, and stress management training.
In addition to our wellness program, all of our locations are smoke-free and tobacco-free establishments.
This initiative is an integral part of our company because ensuring our peoples' overall well-being is crucial to our success. We are actively engaged with communities across our footprint, working closely with organizations such as United Way to give back to the communities we serve.
Muncie Power participates in periodic employee engagement surveys to ensure we receive constructive and actionable feedback. We also send out quarterly publications for all of our employees and their families to keep everyone in touch, regardless of location.
