Carry-Ins and Visitors
It has been just about a month since we updated our guidelines regarding masks and social distancing for those who have been fully vaccinated. We appreciate your willingness to adhere to these changes and procedures.
We are happy to announce more good news. The COVID Action Team met this past week and continued to discuss areas in which we could advance our progress. Employee carry-ins/pot-lucks and non-essential visitors are no longer restricted beginning Monday, June 21.
However, please note, visitors will still be required to wear a mask and have their temperature checked before entering any Muncie Power Products’ building, facility warehouse, or operation. Compliance with these guidelines will be the responsibility of the host employee.
As stated above, carry-ins will be allowed also. Please continue to practice cleanliness, as well as wipe down and sanitize break-rooms before and after use.
We are excited about this progress, and we have all of you to thank for you diligence and patience.
As with other changes, if we have a significant increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, we may return to restricting visitors and/or carry-ins.
Please be sure to reach out to a member of the COVID Action Team or the Associate Outreach Team if you have any questions.
