COVID-19 Cases and Procedure Update

We would like to provide you with an update on the number of COVID-19 cases company-wide. We’ve noticed an uptick following the holidays and that is in line with what is being experienced across the country.  With each case we have continued to follow protocol, including contact tracing, mask requirements, and communicating with the individuals and their managers about when they are safe to return to work.

With the rise in cases, leaders at Muncie Power Products would like to both remind you of safety protocols and to update some of our procedures.

1. As of January 10, visitors will still be welcome into our facilities, but they will be required to wear a surgical mask provided by Muncie Power Products.
2. Remember to follow safety protocols:
   1. Upon entering our facilities, be sure to check your temperature;
   2. If possible, physical distance from others (at least six feet);
   3. If you are required to wear a mask, one should be worn at all times, except if you are in an enclosed space with floor to ceiling walls and a door that is closed (this is subject to manager discretion); and,
   4. Sanitize your work area regularly and common areas like meeting rooms and break room tables after each use.
