Recent Update from CDC
You are likely aware that the CDC recently updated its guidelines with regard to quarantine time due to exposure and positive COVID-19 cases.
We’d like to share with you Muncie Power Products’ guidelines as a result of the recent CDC announcement.
If you Test Positive for COVID-19:
- Regardless of your vaccination status, you should isolate for 5 days from the positive test date.
- After 5 days, if your symptoms are resolving, you may stop isolation, return to work, and wear a mask for 5 additional days.
If you Were Exposed to Someone with COVID-19:
Exposure: Unmasked and in close contact (within 6 feet) with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 for 15 minutes or longer.
- Wear a mask around others for 10 days.
- If you experience symptoms, contact Human Resources, isolate, and test.
- If you test positive, contact Human Resources.
We understand situations may vary. Accordingly, we may need to modify our protocol based upon federal, state, local, rules/guidelines or medical provider recommendations.
