Reminder of Protocol When Experiencing COVID-19 Symptoms

Reminder: Protocol When Experiencing COVID-19 Symptoms
- If exposed or experiencing symptoms, notify your supervisor and HR immediately; and consult your physician, medical provider, or OC24.
- Register for testing, particularly if symptoms are present or a member of your household tests positive. Be sure to consult with Human Resources before testing. How soon you should test depends on whether or not you are vaccinated.
- Note: rapid tests may have a degree of unreliability associated with them. As such, we may not be able to use those results to support a negative diagnosis.
- Do not return to work unless you have contacted your supervisor and HR to receive verification to return.
- Follow all guidance and direction from your medical provider. Please ask the provider to spell out in writing any quarantine instructions.
- If you test positive, you must enter a quarantine period. To return to work, you will need to present a “return to work” form.
Reminder: Temperature Checks
- All employees and visitors need to administer a temperature check when entering any Muncie Power Products facility or building.
Because not all cases are alike, each case will be closely monitored and evaluated by Human Resources. Human Resources reserves the right to modify/adjust the duration of quarantine as well as employees’ return to work date. If you have any questions, please contact Dianna or Rick.
