DATE May 7, 2020
TO All Employees
FROM Ray L. Chambers, Chairman, CEO & President
SUBJECT COVID-19 | Return to Facilities Plan

As our communities begin to open back up, the executive team at Muncie Power Products has begun review of a gradual and methodical plan for resuming normal business. The company’s plan will be in accordance with state and local health departments and CDC recommendations. That being said, we first and foremost, want to thank all of our employees for continuing to support our business during this most unprecedented time in our work history.

During the remainder of this week and next week, the executive team will continue discussions to gauge guidelines for those returning to the office from remote work. We will determine the timing of everyone’s return allowing each individual supervisor to provide their input regarding their specific team and work area. It is our intent to have all remote workers return to the office as quickly as is prudent. The safety and wellbeing of our employees is forefront in any decisions that we make. We plan to provide you with more detailed information as soon as possible. The executive team returned on Monday, May 4.

In the midst of all of the chaos, the plans to grow and expand are still intact and our parent company is still supportive of our strategic plan.

Again, my sincere gratitude for all you have done during this time. It takes each member of our workforce to make our company produce and support our quality product line. Muncie Power remains stable and strong. We stand out from the rest because of our hard working and dedicated employees. For that, I remain thankful.
